You can continue to access all the information available on reSearchWeb either through Social Care Online or Social Services Knowledge Scotland.

Finding research and policy documents about Scotland

To find articles specific to Scotland use the intermediate search function of Social Care Online and search for the topic Scotland.

Email updates

Social Care Online features a sophisticated email update service that allows you to customise your own email updates – for example choosing a number of topics and then selecting to receive only information about Scotland. Simply log into ‘My Social Care Online’ and choose the topics you are interested in and how often you wish to receive email updates.

Keeping informed about forthcoming conferences

Social Care Online has a comprehensive events list.

To obtain a list of events in Scotland, use the intermediate search function to search for the topic ‘Scotland’ and then the ’refine search’ feature to display only events.

Ensuring you have access to full text

You can also refine searches or email updates from Social Care Online to ensure that you only receive information about documents that are freely available via the internet. Simply check the ‘full text’ box when carrying out your search or choosing your topics.
